Built as a resort and landmark, the Water Wall was constructed by Bumrungrad Industries to establish a foothold in the economic boom as a result of rising tourism. The towers themselves contain malls, restaurants, luxury suites (and less luxurious on the lower levels), spas, and more. One could visit Bangkok and never leave the Water Wall. The Wall itself, being the most expensive portion of the resort constructed, contains artificial whales and various sea life that don't require food and only occasional repairs by synthetic surgeons.
